New Education and Research Facilities
Currently under construction, the Juei-Low Sung Education and Research Center will house all of our hospital's education and research-related initiatives. This 7-floor building will be connected to our main building and is designed to foster creativity and collaboration both within and among departments. Pursuing change and advancement, these departments will be situated in an open-style work environment that is conducive to innovation. The design of the center trades in the cubicles of traditional office spaces for the more group-oriented layout of start-ups. We envision this new space to be the hub of the frontier.
Slated to operate within these facilities include the Andrew T. Huang Medical Education Promotion Fund, Center of Learning and Teaching (COLT), Center of Health Care Policy Research, and laboratories conducting genomic cancer research. Each of these is an engine behind our commitment to advance the education of healthcare professionals, reconfigure the healthcare system to promote high-quality care, and further global understanding of cancer. We are continually adding to our body of initiatives and look forward to this new chapter of our story.
